Honorable Darnell Jackson
Darnell Jackson has been a Saginaw County Circuit Court Judge since May 2006. He also served as a District Court Judge for (5) five years prior to that. Judge Jackson has been the Director of Michigan’s Office of Drug Control Policy, Deputy Chief of Police for the City of Saginaw, Deputy Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Saginaw, and an attorney engaged in the private practice of law.
He has been profiled in Outstanding People of the 20th Century, Who’s Who in The World, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who Among African Americans and Who’s Who Among Business Professionals. He is also a nation-wide presenter and former faculty member for The National Judicial College and The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges.
Judge Jackson received his Law Degree and Bachelor’s Degree from Wayne State University, his Associates Degree and police officer certification from Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and certificates of graduation from Central Michigan University, The National Judicial College, and Harvard University.

Adjournment requests of scheduled events are routinely handled by the Judge's judicial assistant. A stipulation and order with the new date, signed by all counsel must be filed after approval of the adjournment. Adjournment requests for motions are handled by the Judicial Assistant.
